You can add a virtual tour to either a Delivery Page or a Website by pasting your virtual tour link or embed code directly into Show&Tour.
This is useful for adding tours from platforms like Matterport or other virtual tour providers.
Step 1: Copy your virtual tour link
First, go to your virtual tour provider and copy the tour link or embed code you want to use.
Once you have copied the link, open your project in Show&Tour and go to the Delivery Page or Website where you want to add the virtual tour.
Step 2: Paste the link into the Link/Embed Code box
In the Gallery area, look for the Link/Embed Code box.
Paste your virtual tour link or embed code into that field.
Step 3: Review the virtual tour section
After the link is added, Show&Tour will create a Virtual Tour section.
From here, you can review the tour source, preview image, and heading.
You’ll be able to adjust details such as:
Source: Select or confirm the virtual tour provider, such as Matterport.
Source URL: The link or embed code connected to the tour.
Preview Image: The image shown before the user opens the tour.
Heading: The title displayed for the virtual tour section.
Step 4: Customize the virtual tour options
Depending on the type of virtual tour you are adding, you may see additional settings.
For example, with Matterport tours, you may have options like:
Enable Quick Start
Show “Presented by” Branding
Show Dollhouse View
Show Guided Tour Buttons
Show Highlight Reel Buttons
Change the Preview Image
These options control how the virtual tour behaves and what viewers can see when they open it.
Step 5: Adjust the section settings
You can also click the Section Settings icon to customize how the virtual tour is delivered and displayed.
Available options include:
Action Text: Change the button text, such as “Explore 3D Space.”
Deliver URL: Choose which link should be delivered to your client.
Show Branding: Show or hide branding on the tour section.
Autoload: Automatically load the tour when the page opens.
Deliver Shareable Link: Include a shareable link for the client.
Deliver Embed Code: Include the embed code for the client.
Deliver Unbranded Version: Provide an unbranded version when available.
SEO Title: Customize the page title for search engines.
SEO Description: Add a description for search engines.
Remove Section: Delete the virtual tour section if needed.
Step 6: Publish your changes
After adding the virtual tour link and customizing the settings, click the Publish Changes bar at the top of the project page or the Publish button right above the Preview button.
Your virtual tour will then be available on the Delivery Page or Website.
What your client will see
Once published, the virtual tour will appear as its own section on the Delivery Page or Website.
Visitors can click the play button or action button to open and explore the tour. The virtual tour can be shared or its link copied by clicking the Share button, which clients can also use.
