Design Settings

Updated over a week ago

In this video, I walk you through the design settings and customization options for delivery pages and property websites. I demonstrate how to access these settings, including the simplified and advanced views, and emphasize the importance of using the preview feature to visualize changes. I cover various options such as header settings, navigation styles, menu configurations, and gallery displays, encouraging you to explore and customize to fit your brand. It's crucial to save your customized settings as a template for future use. Please make sure to save your adjustments after customizing to ensure a premium experience for your clients.

Design Settings let you customize the look and feel of your Delivery Pages and Websites. You can adjust layouts, navigation, galleries, fonts, colors, and more — giving your projects a fully branded, premium presentation.

Accessing Design Settings

  1. Open any project in Show&Tour.

  2. Go to either the Delivery Page or Website view.

  3. Click Design Settings.

👉 Tip: Click the Preview button first, then select Design Settings. This gives you a live, visual view of all the changes you make.

Main Areas of Customization

Design Settings are organized into sections so you can control the entire presentation of your page or site:

Header

  • Change header text alignment (left, center, right).

  • Adjust header layout and position.

  • Toggle the header on or off.

Navigation & Menu

  • Choose between Scrolling Layout (one-page design with smooth scrolling) or Tabs Layout (click between sections without scrolling).

  • Turn the menu on/off (recommended to keep it on for Tabs Layout).

  • Adjust menu placement (top, bottom, or floating).

  • Show/hide your logo in the menu.

  • Choose menu styles (icons or text).

Page Sections

  • Customize section headings (alignment or hidden).

  • Change button placement (left, center, right).

  • Add or remove sections as needed.

Galleries

  • Display photos as a grid, list, slider, or other layout options.

  • Adjust image sizing, spacing, and layout.

  • Choose whether to display file names (always, on hover, or never).

  • Show or hide download buttons.

Videos & Embeds (Virtual Tours)

  • Control the size and width of embedded videos and tours.

Footer

  • Turn on or off.

  • Adjust footer layout and text.

Global Styles

  • Fonts – choose from available typography options.

  • Colors – create light, dark, or custom color schemes.

  • Buttons – adjust button shapes, sizes, and styles.

  • Borders – choose border styles to match your design.

Saving Your Designs as Templates

Once you’ve customized your design, you can save it for future use:

  1. In Preview Mode, make your design changes.

  2. Exit Preview, click Templates at the top.

  3. Save your current design as a new template.

This allows you to:

  • Apply the same design to future projects.

  • Maintain a consistent brand style across clients.

  • Create variations (e.g., one design for luxury homes, another for commercial projects).

Best Practices

  • Test on a full project: Customize designs on a project with all media types (photos, video, tours, floor plans) so you see how each element looks.

  • Save often: Once you create a design you like, save it as a template so you don’t lose your work.

  • Match your brand: Adjust colors, fonts, and layouts to reflect your business identity for a premium client experience.

Design Settings give you complete control over the appearance of your Delivery Pages and Websites. By combining customization options with saved templates, you can deliver a consistent, professional look that fits your brand and streamlines your workflow.
