The new Show&Tour photo editor gives you more control over your images without leaving your project.
Adjust lighting and colors, crop and straighten photos, correct perspective, create reusable Looks, and apply the same edits across multiple images, all from your project’s Media Library.
Access the Photo Editor
Getting started is simple:
Open the project you want to edit.
Go to the project’s Media Library.
Select the photo you want to work on.
The photo will open in the editor, where you can preview changes and access all the available editing tools.
Create and Save Your Own Looks
Use Looks to save your favorite color adjustments and reuse them on other photos.
This is helpful when you want multiple images or an entire project to have a consistent editing style.
Adjust the Lighting
Use the Light controls to improve the brightness and contrast of your photo:
Exposure: Brighten or darken the entire image.
Contrast: Increase or reduce the difference between light and dark areas.
Highlights: Adjust the brightest parts of the photo.
Shadows: Adjust darker areas without changing the entire image.
Whites: Fine-tune the photo’s white points.
Blacks: Fine-tune the darkest parts of the photo.
Fine-Tune the Colors
The Color section gives you control over the overall appearance of the image:
Temperature: Make the photo look warmer or cooler.
Tint: Adjust the green and magenta balance.
Vibrance: Enhance less prominent colors.
Saturation: Increase or reduce the intensity of all colors.
Edit Individual Colors
Use the Color Mixer to adjust specific colors without changing the rest of the photo.
Choose a color range, including red, orange, yellow, green, aqua, blue, purple, or magenta. You can then adjust:
Hue: Change the selected color’s tone.
Saturation: Increase or reduce the color’s intensity.
Luminance: Make the selected color brighter or darker.
You can also use the eyedropper to select a color directly from the photo. This gives you precise control over individual colors while keeping the rest of the image unchanged.
Make Precise Adjustments With Curves
Use Curves for more detailed control over brightness, contrast, and color.
You can adjust:
The complete RGB curve
Red
Green
Blue
Click the curve to add adjustment points. Select Reset to return the curve to its original position.
Improve Image Detail
The Detail section includes:
Sharpen: Enhance image definition and fine details.
Dehaze: Reduce haze and improve clarity.
Crop, Straighten, and Correct Perspective
Use the Geometry tools to improve the photo’s composition and alignment:
Straighten the image.
Crop unwanted areas.
Rotate the photo.
Correct vertical perspective.
Correct horizontal perspective.
Adjust distortion.
Enable Panorama Mode
Turn on Enable Panorama when working with a compatible panoramic image.
Compare the Original and Edited Versions
You can quickly check how your edits compare with the original photo.
Click and hold anywhere on the image to display the original version. Release the mouse button to return to the edited version.
This makes it easy to review your changes before saving them.
Copy Edits to Another Photo
You do not need to repeat the same adjustments for every image.
Open the three-dot menu.
Select Copy edits.
Move to another photo.
Open the three-dot menu again.
Select Paste edits.
You can also use the keyboard shortcuts shown in the editor.
Duplicate a Photo
Select Duplicate from the three-dot menu to create a copy of the photo with the edits currently shown on the screen.
This is useful when you want to create multiple edited versions while keeping the original image available.
Undo, Redo, or Discard Changes
Made a change you do not like? Use the Undo and Redo buttons at the top of the editor.
To remove all unsaved changes from the current photo, open the three-dot menu and select Discard changes.
Delete a Photo
You can select Delete photo from the three-dot menu.
Important: Deleting a photo removes it from every gallery where it appears.
Move Between Photos
Use the previous and next arrows at the top of the editor to move through the photos in your Media Library without closing the editing screen.
Save Your Work
When you are happy with the result, click Save in the upper-right corner.
Your changes will be applied to the photo in your project’s Media Library.
