Managing your project files should be practical and straightforward. If you need to clear out a batch of outtakes or old documents, you don't have to delete them one by one. You can easily bulk-delete several media items—such as photos, videos, and PDFs—at once to keep your workflow moving efficiently.
Note: While bulk-deleting specific files is helpful, the most efficient process for clearing up space in your account is to delete entire projects rather than individual media items.
Deleting Items from the Main Media Section
You don't even need to choose a specific project to manage your files! If you want to clear out items you have uploaded across various projects at any time, you can do it right from your main library:
Navigate to your main Media section from your dashboard (this is where all of your uploaded media is located).
Take advantage of the filter and sort options at the top to easily locate your files. This is especially useful for finding large files like videos.
Try switching your media items into list view to access additional sorting options, such as sorting by file size. Filtering your media by date is also highly recommended for quickly locating older files.
Click and drag your mouse across the files to select multiple items at the same time.
Once your items are highlighted, a trash can icon will appear at the top of your screen.
Click the trash can icon to delete all of the selected items at once.
Deleting Multiple Items in Project Media
If you are already working inside a specific project, you can use the exact same method:
Open your project and navigate to the Project Media tab.
Click and drag your mouse to highlight multiple items.
Click the trash can icon at the top of the screen to delete the selected files.
Deleting Items from Delivery Pages
You can also use this click-and-drag method to select and bulk-delete multiple media items directly from your Delivery Pages while managing the client handoff.
