How to add a custom domain name to a project.

You must first connect your domain name to Show & Tour, then you can add that domain name to a project by following the steps below.

Follow these steps to add your domain name to a project. 

  1. After creating a new project, navigate to the project settings (the gear icon next to the project name)

  2. In the 'Domain Name' box, type in the domain name you want. HINT: if you added the CNAME record to the domain name kc.tours, you can either set up your project under kc.tours or kc.tours/whateveryouwant

  3. If it's your first time adding in this domain, you will get an error message. Click on the drop down next to the text 'Domain Requires Setup', then click on 'Check Domain CNAME Records'. 

  4. You should now be receiving a green check mark indicating it has been added correctly.

  5. Click 'Save Changes' and your project domain name has now been changed. Please keep in mind that once you change the domain name, the old domain name(s) for that project will not longer work.
